Who it's for

Made for the people apps forgot.

HelloToday works beautifully on a phone. The Button is for everyone it couldn't reach.

Parents who won't use a phone

No screen, no passcode, no updates. There's nothing to learn and nothing to forget. If they can press a doorbell, they can use this.

Anyone living alone

A quiet daily routine that tells the family everything's fine, without a phone call, without wearing anything, and without feeling watched.

Families who live far away

Interstate or overseas, every press lands on your phone in seconds. A missed one reaches you before anyone else would have noticed.

How it works

Three things. That's the whole product.

01

They press once a day

Morning coffee, after the news, whenever suits. The button glows to say it got through. Press it again any time; that's fine too.

Phone lock screen showing the notification: Mum checked in today and is doing okay
02

You get a notification

“Mum checked in and is doing okay.” Every family member connected to her gets the same one, on their own phone.

03

No press? You get an alert

Set the time that suits her day. If there's no press by then, the family is alerted, by push, and by SMS on Premium.

Designed for real homes

Simple on the outside. Thoughtful underneath.

Plugs in and stays on

Mains powered, so there's never a flat battery on the one morning it matters. Lives happily on a bench, side table or by the bed.

Five-minute setup, done by you

Type the code from the bottom of the button into the app, pick their WiFi, press once to confirm. They never touch a phone.

The whole family, one code

Share your loved one's code and brothers, sisters and grandkids get the same check-ins and alerts. Up to ten people on Premium.

It tells them it worked

A steady glow means the press got through. Different blinks for no WiFi or no internet, so you can tell what's wrong over the phone.

Phone showing the alert: Mum's button is offline

Knows when it's unplugged

The button quietly checks in with us throughout the day. If it goes silent, you get an “offline” alert instead of a missed check-in you can't explain.

Works on the free plan, forever

Check-in and missed-check-in notifications never need a subscription. Premium adds SMS, flexible times and more family members.

“I built this for my own mum. She won't go near a phone, but she presses the button every morning, and my dad and I both get the notification on ours. The morning she was late, the alert came through and I rang her. That's the whole point.”
Andy Tran, HelloToday founder. The first button lives on his mum's kitchen bench in Perth.

Pre-order questions

Before you reserve one.

Early-bird buttons ship by January 2027 at the latest, in the order they were reserved, and sooner if the parts arrive early. The date depends on component availability, so if anything shifts we'll tell you by email straight away, and you can take a full refund at any point before your button ships. You'll get a tracking link the day it goes out.

Now, which is how we lock in the early-bird price for you. If you change your mind before your button ships, reply to your confirmation email and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked.

No. You set the button up from your phone, in about five minutes, and you can do it at your place before you bring it over. Your parent just presses it. They never see a screen.

No. Check-in notifications and missed-check-in alerts work on the free plan for as long as you like. If you'd like SMS alerts, flexible check-in times or more family members, Premium is there in the app, but the button never needs it.

A power point and home WiFi. It connects to a normal 2.4 GHz WiFi network, the kind every home router provides. No SIM card, no hub, nothing else to buy.

Extra presses are fine; you'll get a gentle “pressed again” nudge at most every half hour. If they forget, the family is alerted at the time you chose, so you can ring and check in the old-fashioned way.

No. It's a daily reassurance for families, not an emergency device, and it doesn't call emergency services. Many families use it alongside a pendant alarm, or for a parent who refuses to wear one.

Thirty days from delivery to try it in real life. If it isn't right for your family, send it back for a full refund. It's also covered by a 12-month warranty and the Australian Consumer Law.
